Economic Issue: GMA's 1M Dinner

I really think what GMA did was not appropriate. Seeing her eating dinner for 1M with her crew while her country men are suffering from poverty. She should have known it better that she's eating such expensive meals. I think that money is enough to help many people rather than serving yourself first. Thinking that poor Filipinos cannot even eat 3 times a day. Looking at our economic status it is not pretty good. We have abundant resources yet not used rightly. Supposedly we are richer than any other countries here in Southeast Asia but since  the end of World War II, the Philippines has been on an unfortunate economic trajectory, going from one of the richest countries in Asia (following Japan) to one of the poorest. Growth after the war was rapid, but slowed as years of economic mismanagement and political volatility during the Marcos regime contributed to economic stagnation and resulted in macroeconomic instability. People who are rich become richer and the poorer become poorer. We aim for justice and fight corruption but the situation right now is unstoppable. I hope people learn their ethics well and right.
